Maybe you feel down about yourself. Maybe because you cant seem to live up to the ideals you’ve made for yourself.
THATS OKAY!!!
YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO BE PERFECT (I’m sorry I use caps when I’m passionate about something lol).
You are not meant to give your life to Jesus and instantly be a perfect good Christian girl who can do no wrong.
Jeremiah 18:4, 6 (NIV): “The pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him… ‘Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?’ declares the Lord. ‘Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.’
You are the clay. God is the potter.
He is shaping you.
He is CONSTANTLY shaping you.
You are a beautiful perfect wonderful amazing WORK IN PROCESS.
When you obey God and love Jesus and are close to Him,
Then God is constantly making you into something beautiful.
So why do you try to change what Hes making?
Try to change yourself to the worlds standards, try to change the beautiful you God is making?
For me, I catch myself trying to change me into something the world will like and want.
Isaiah 45:9: “Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’
STOP TRYING TO CHANGE YOURSELF!
You are GODS work in progress, and a beautiful one.
