*LIFE UPDATE!*
You know when you start something and its really hard to complete?
For the month of October I took on a challenge I never would have thought I was capable of completing.
I joined CWM, Crazy Writing Month, in which hundreds of writers attempt to write 30,000 words in a manuscript, in the month of October.
I chose two of my current WIPs (Work-in-progress’s), Bounce Back and a Spiderman MCU fan fiction.
There were so so many times in this crazy adventure of a month where I doubted myself, I hated my work, I restarted and I almost gave up.
At one point I lowered my goal to just 20,000 words, sure that even if I could reach that it would be amazing.
And now as I write this, there are 3 days, 11 hours and 1 second till the clock ticks over and CWM is done.
And before then I need to finish my word count!
I have 6300 words to go…
And I am determined to finish this amazing month strong.
But the thing that really got me through this month was my God. I write, because I love him and I want to serve him. He gave me these opportunities, this ability, this way to honour Him.
And so honor him I shall!
Im determined to pour my heart into my writing, with only one goal in mind, to worship, lift up and glorify my Lord.
My novels are a way to do that, bringing God and good lessons into my little world of fiction.
My blog is a way to glorify Him too, I pray over each post and try to share a little piece of this love I have with the world.
I journal a LOT too, literally going through new journals frantically and fast.
And im also going to learn poetry as another way to pour my heart out to God.
I think everyone has a different type of worship. Some people sing or write songs, play an instrument. Some people do art, or some form of creative or hard work that they do to glorify God.
For me? My worship, my outpouring to the Lord, its writing. I love to write to the Lord.
Whats your form of worship do you think? Feel free to tell me in the comments!
May you have a blessed day,
Selah xx

I would love to hear what you think!
