Hello! Welcome to my blog Transformed in His image, I’m so happy your here!

My name is Selah Valentine, and I am a teenage girl who just loves Jesus so much!

I was saved by His Amazing Grace in January 2026, and baptised the next month. God is so good!

Heres some things about me:)

I am a sinner saved by Amazing Grace and I am by far a Jesus Freak!

I love to write, even though Im not very good at it yet, it brings me joy and a place to express my heart.

Im going to describe my vibe as a mix between country, girly girl and stressed-writer-in-the-middle-of-the-night-who-dosunt-care-she-has-tea-on-her-shirt!

I love animals, I love our beautiful earth and all of Gods amazing creation.

I am an introvert, who wouldn’t mind hibernation in her room for weeks on end, working on multiple projects and drinking hot chocolate.

I play basketball, and I love it. I love working hard, and seeing progress and making satisfying shot in a game. Im generally not much of a physical player, but im getting better!

My hair looks neat in my avatar photo but its usally not…

I love books, tea, healthy snacks (but also cookies), writing, organisation, pretty things, fashion, good friends and worshipping.

I love organisation but im not very good at it!

If im going to fangirl over something its going to be spiderman, how to train your dragon or Avatar The Last Airbender.

And I love anything worship, Colton Dixon, Josiah Queen, Brandon Lake, Anne Wilson and the song ‘My Fathers House’

I love creating stuff on Canva, especially collages for my novels/novellas!

I have so so so so many favourite bible verses but im going to share my two favourites:

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” Romans 8:37

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

And I love to encourage people, build them up, and use the amazing gift of writing to spread goodness. And so thats what I hope to achieve through this blog, and im so grateful for the privilege of encouraging you.

Another thing you should know, is im still figuring this crazy life out for myself.

Im still trying to find who I am, who I want to be, what my voice is. Im not perfect, in fact im really imperfect.

And this is what ill describe myself as; in the process of becoming me.

im still figuring this all out, and im sure you are too. So why dont we figure it out together?

Now a bit about the blog itself

My idea for this blog is based off two verses; Romans 12:2 (be transformed) and Genesis 1:27 (made in the image of God).

This blog is like a diary for me. I want to document my thoughts, opinions, and my love for Jesus throughout my teen years. But I also want it to encourage you, give you a new idea, or just have the reassurance your not alone in this beautiful, but at times crazy life.

So yes, you might notice some bad writing, terrible grammar and very opinionated ideas. The posts might be irregular or come in big batches, but thats ok. Because this blog is not meant to be a few polished posts edited to perfection. Its meant to real. Its meant to give all the glory to Jesus.

So if anyone apart from my parents is actually reading this, welcome! I hope you enjoy and I hope you have discovered the amazing love Jesus has for you.
