During a difficult time in my life, I was flicking through a popular christian songs playlist. Flick.flick.flick. Nothing was clicking. And then a different style of song came on.  Country style. The song instantly lit me up, sparked hope and resonated deeply. I iimmeidatly clicked on the artists profile and discovered a long list of songs that have since become my favourites. So , who is this inspiring artist? you might ask. “Anne Wilson”. I will reply pride in my voice for the opportunity to share her music.

Anne Wilson is an American Christian and country singer-songwriter from Kentucky. . Originally aspiring to be a NASA astronaut, her path shifted in 2017 following the sudden death of her brother, Jacob in a car accident.

she sang in public for the first time at his funeral, a moment that led to her discovery by a record label. She has since skyrocketed to fame with her 2021 debut single “My Jesus,” . Anne has since released three successful albums, My Jesus, REBEL and Stars.

She has also published a memoir titled My Jesus: From Heartache to Hope, a devotional called Hey Girl: You Are Seen, Loved, and Made for More, and has an upcoming book release titled Rebel: Following Jesus When the World Walks the Other Way, which is scheduled for release on 9 June 2026.
